Ferryl 202 Aluminium (IMPA No. 45 04 06)

Ferryl 202 Aluminium is known as a “grease-paint“ because it is a grease yet covers much like paint. Unlike paint, the product does not dry completely. By not drying out completely the grease maintains flexibility to provide lubrication of moving parts.
Specifically designed for deck applications, it withstands varying temperatures (-30°C to + 70°C) and exposure to saltwater and sunlight. Ferryl 202 Aluminium will not drip in hot, tropical climates and will not become brittle and crack at temperatures below freezing.
Ferryl 202 Aluminium gets its name from the aluminium powder within the product, which gives it excellent anti-seize properties as well as its aluminium-grey colour, which blends in well on rails.
The adhesion and sea-water resistance of Ferryl 202 Aluminium is superb, which means that is not easily washed off by bad weather. A very thin layer of Ferryl 202 Aluminium, with built-in chemical rust inhibitors, will protect and lubricate the threads of container lashings.
Because Ferryl 202 Aluminium does not dry hard, it provides the necessary lubrication to easily open and close lashings.
Main Applications: Hatchcover Rails / Wheels, Open Gears, Container Lashings / Turnbuckles.
